Broadway Musical "Rent"

Rent closed in New York on Sept. 7, 2008, after 5,124 performances, making it the seventh-longest-running show in Broadway history. Written by Jonathan Larson who died shortly after Rent began its life 0ff-Broadway. The musical is based on Puccini's classic 1896 opera La Boheme.
